Lightweight & Simple
Extremely lightweight and compact design (less than 1.6 oz!) allows for quick installation without modification, loosening strings, or adding unwanted mass to the soundhole of your guitar.

Ergonomic & Friendly
Rolled edges and low-profile mounting ears keep the pickup from getting in the way of your picking while the natural cork pads protect the most delicate nitrocellulose finishes from damage.

Reviews

I put this in a

"I put this in a ‘97 Taylor 910. I run it through a radial pre z pre amp on to a Fender Acoustasonic Pro amplifier. The sound I am capturing is exactly what the guitar projects unplugged. I have not had this exact duplication with the other two pickups I have used in the past."

Great Job Mojotone! A+

"Sounds a lot like a mic pickup, which is a "true" and warm sound. Super easy to install. Even sound pretty good on my mojotone GA-5 tube amp, I just have to keep the volume down a little. Playing through my solid state amp is a dream, just a louder version of my instrument. I play with a Lillian pedal on a few songs and this pickup doesn't miss a beat. All in All, an impressive pickup."

Just a great pickup

"All I can say is this pickup far exceeded my expectations. I have an acoustic with no electronics and wanted to add a pickup with the least invasive way possible. This did the trick. Easy to install, volume control works perfectly. The battery indicator is a great feature. The sound is excellent. Highly recommended."

great sound

"They said the MojoTone Quiet Coil NC-1 Acoustic Soundhole Pickup sounds natural. I was very surprised to find that it really sounds great. I do not detect that typical soundhole pickup "electric guitar" sound. Very feedback resistant as well. It looks good for what it is also. Highly recomended. Would I record with it? Probably not on solo guitar, or maybe mixed with mic signal...but in a group setting, yes"

A happy UK user.

"I am my second order of one of these great pickups now. Being in the UK I’ve had to order from thomann’s but I could not be happier. I have not found a better, and easy representation of the sound of my acoustic guitars than with these pickups, and I’ve tried everything to find my taste. Thank you guys for creating these."

Good Job Mojo!

"Hi from your southern neighbor, I've been a fan of Mojo for years and was glad to see they expanded into acoustic pickups. Having owned their quiet coil strat pickups and 59 humbuckers, I had a good feeling this acoustic pickup would be nothing short of amazing. My guitar is equipped with a factory Aura system which has served me well until the under saddle element started to buzz. I figured a soundhole pickup would be good to have as a backup but it sounds so good I'm considering permanently installing it!"

Thank you Mojotone!

"Thank you Mojotone! This pickup produces the purest acoustic sound on the market/planet. I love being a part of this company's growth; I agree with Caleb Mac, Mojotone will sell millions of these! Keep up the great work Mojotone!"

Great!

"Got a NC-1 for my older Taylor dreadnought. Installation was simple and it sounds amazing! Bought a second one to use in my dad’s old D-35 without drilling any holes. Great product! And I’m proud it’s a North Carolina company!"

Super products! Very pleased!

"I have two of the Monotone NC-1 pickups. One is mounted on a Gallagher dreadnought guitar and the other on a Guild Jumbo guitar. I play in a church praise band and a Christian side band. I also do some recording work. For live amplification I use a Boss Acoustic Singer Pro Amp and Zoom AC-3 pedalboard. I am extremely pleased with with the tone, quality of build and overall performance of these pickups. I had tried several pickup systems and reviewed many prior to my initial purchase of the Mojotone. I read a number of reviews when the NC-1's came out and bought my first. Then I bought my second. Totally pleased with the product! Great tone, quiet and reliable. By the way- as an aside- a couple years ago I bought a Mojotone loaded pick guard assembly for my Stratocaster. Amazing!"

This is the pick-up you've been searching for

"I did a lot of research before I made a purchase. I looked up "best sound hole pickups" on every site I could. I also watched lots of YouTube videos. From what I read and saw, I became excited about Mojo. A fairly new US company that was getting great reviews with no downside stories and I was very impressed by the video with the company. I have a thin body Takemine that has a under-saddle piezo pickup that sounded like a quaking duck (expensive guitar by the way) but I loved playing it so I set out to find an sound hole pickup which would be the easiest fix. The Mojo didn't disappoint, sounds totally natural. NOTE: Customer service is top-notch. I had an issue (user error) and was able to contact the owner and staff directly! how cool is that? Problem resolved with kindness and a new pickup even though I was at fault. Man you just don't see that anymore. No reason not to buy this pickup, at the price, you'll be very happy you did."
