Hand-wound with a specific tension and winding pattern, each Mojotone Jazzmaster® pickup uses Alnico 5 cast rod magnets, vintage-correct plain enamel wire, and vulcanized fiberboard flatwork, then vacuum potted for quiet, reliable performance. The neck pickup is clear and loud with exceptional clarity and warmth, while the bridge has a looser feel with lots of power and tone—voiced slightly hotter than original '59-era pickups for better neck-to-bridge balance, and reverse-wound for hum-cancelling when played together.
