Best of the Best

"These are not the same as what else is available, they are superior and the price is good too."

Customer Review

"Thanks Mojotone for another exceptional product! I wouldn't expect anything different from you guys but these CTS pots are easily the nicest ones I've ever used. The taper is SOOOOO smooth without any drastic changes and I love how easy they are to turn when doing volume swells. The retainer clip is a nice touch too so I don't push the back of the pot off when installing tight knobs. You guys thought of everything on these!"

Nice wide taper giving you total control.

"Yo!!! If you're looking for a pot that gives you far more control over your gain this is it! I never write reviews but for the sake of helping out somebody that is looking for a pot that will allow you a nice wide range to get different levels of gain using just your volume knob, just buy it! Easily the best volume taper I have ever used. Do not worry about the low resistance it feels great and stays put. I replaced a 500k Gibson pot with this and its lights out better."

Perfect upgrade for PCB equipped Les Pauls

"When replacing the PCB in my Gibson Les Paul Tribute I used these for volume and tone. I've used all logarithmic pots in the past and the taper on the volume was a little abrupt from 9 to 10. These are a smoother than that and with the 50s style wiring my pickups have a much more dynamic sweep through the pot range. I think they're 30% taper vs the 10% or 15% that modern logarithmic taper pots use. I highly recommend these. If you're looking for pots for an SG you need the shorter shaft version."

Customer Review

"I've tried several other types of fancy pots, and nothing beats these. Smooth as butter, absolutely fantastic taper and audio quality (I don't even need a treble bleed) and extremely consistent. I see no feasible reason to ever use another brand of potentiometer."

Customer Review

"These are fantastic! I have bought 16 of them in the last year. All work flawlessly and are a big upgrade to what Gibson puts in their guitars. These are the only ones I will buy! Excellent taper and so easy to turn. Better than others I have tried at twice the price!"

Customer Review

"Bought four of these to do 50s wiring in a Gibson les Paul custom. Have to say they work great. The easy turn really helps in quick tone adjustments. Far better feel than the CTS or gibson stock pots for feel. The vintage taper works really great on the volume but I'm not 100% sure about how it works on the tone. I still like how they turn so effortlessly so I'll learn to use them. The splines fit the historic Gibson gold bell hat knobs very well and the shaft keeps them high above the guitar for that vintage look with the pointers. I'm gonna order some more for a few other les Paul's to do. Five stars!"

Customer Review

"I have installed these GREAT pots in a few high-end Gibson Les Pauls and they sound and feel GREAT! The only problem is the height of the spline shaft on how high is sticks up above the threads that secure the pot into the guitar. Even while sinking the threads of the shaft as far into the body as possible and not more threads are seen above the nut, the spline shaft still sticks up too high resulting in the installed knobs sticking up WAY too high above the body making it look horrible. To get the knobs down against the body, you have to modify the spline and/or the volume and tone knobs so they sit down closer to the body. Like this: https://blog.philadelphialuthiertools.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/recessed-vs-non-recessed-knob-on-a-Gibson-Traditional.jpg Would AWESOME if the spline shaft would start almost immediately above the threads. If was done, you would be able to adjust the height of the knob by the threads, washers and nuts. This would make this the PERFECT pot! Monotone, since you get this pot made to your specifications, can you run this by CTS? This modification would be a universally desired/appreciated change with both the DIY consumers and us professional techs!!! Message me here for questions. I will be your first customer. How many do I have to buy to make this happen? Thanks! Greg Davis"
