"In today’s live environment, big is definitely not better. I hauled a 4x12 around to local clubs for years because it’s what I had…and it looked cool. I finally replaced it with a 2x12 and wondered why I hadn’t done it sooner. I didn’t miss the big cab at all. Now that I’m older, and playing bigger venues, I got tired of lugging that cab around, too. Worse, I heard “can you turn down a little” way too much (even though I’m not blasting). I finally came to realize that the stage cab is almost completely unnecessary, especially with IEM’s. This cab is perfect. It sounds great on the stage and in ears, is incredibly light and priced way right. And it looks good, too."
