Modern Celestian V30
"I decided to dedicate a Fender Champion 2 100 watt 2 x 12 amp for Thrash and the stock speakers, which are designed to handle all the modeling effects, Suck even on the British high gain settings! I'm using an ESP Arctic Arrow and Hetfield LTD Snakebyte Explorer so I needed a set of speakers that can balance these finicky active pickups and using a Fender amp was a challenge. These BV 30's, as everything I have got from Mojo, hit the spot. I wanted a chuggy low end with thump and a scoop in the mids as everything Fender I use has way too much mids and bright treble. Smoothed and warmed up the mids! These speakers cost as much as I paid for the amp but they are worth it and I can easily now dial in settings and spend more time playing. The Fender design speakers were brittle and way to trebly with no headroom and a stuffiness. These BV balances everything and made it very useable on this modeling amp which is counter intuitive to the factory speakers as they are designed to do just that and cover all the different voicings. It is now an adequate metal amp for practice and performance thanks to these speakers and sound great for everything else ie my strat, tele and clean tones and blues from what I play. I have also ABY'd it with my 4x10 super reverb for a wet and dry sound and Bonus neighborhood shaking Decibels'. Another few dozen hours and these will be broken in and I'm sure sound even more premium. I was tempted to get one greyhound and one BV as the grey is also an amazing sounding speaker but maybe an upgrade in the future! Nice take on the Celestian V30 that makes it as great but unique as Mojo does on all their speakers. Not a copy but a modern reinvention."
