A really great speaker!!!

"I’ve recently purchased a, VHT Special 6 Watt amplifier, to use in my room. I purchased new Tung-Sol 12ax7’s and Gold Lion 6V6, and chose a new speaker. I wanted this amp to have an American sound. So I chose the, Mojo-Tone Anthem. It sounded way beyond my expectations. It sounds crystal clear and the harmonics just jump out of it. It took a few hours to break in, and now I just can’t stop playing it. My only regret is not going with a MojoTone amplifier as well. It sounds great with a few Fuzz pedals and a Wah, and really gets that sweet blues sound."

An astoundingly great speaker!

"I was most pleasantly surprised with the crystal clear yet thumpy (but not woofy) low end of this speaker, while still yielding rich highs. Thumpy, meaning when you partially mute the low E string on a guitar, it gives that deep resonant Pop. Also, it is a very efficient speaker: lots of loudness per watt. I did instant A/B comparisons to a Jensen re-issue C12N in an identical cab, and an original but re-coned Jensen P12P, and the low end excelled using the Anthem, without any muddiness, Even CRANKED with a 16 watt amp (6G3). The highs of all three speakers were similar with very subtle diffs, I feel easily compensated for by small adjustment on amp or guitar or position of hand. The low end performance made the Anthem seem overall louder than the others, for if you played just high strings, they were similar."
