Mojotone Anthem 10" 35W Guitar Speaker 8 ohm

A huge part of being a musician is being intentional about your work. This concept can apply to sound, songwriting, aesthetic, and even gear selection; which goes hand-in-hand with the philosophy behind our Anthem Series Speakers. Each speaker in our Anthem Series was purpose-built to optimize their overall power and functionality without compromising their finely-tuned classic American-voiced tone. After hundreds of hours of research, parts selection, and testing, we’re confident we have outfitted each of these speaker baskets with their perfect paper, voice coil, and magnet counterparts. Straight-seamed ribbed cones were chosen for their superior performance and unmatched tone, and top-shelf voice coils and magnets have been carefully paired to each of their respective speaker cone sizes.

So far so good!

"Sounds great so fsr"

GREAT SPEAKERS

"These speakers, to my ears have a very warm and smooth sound too them somewhat vintage sounding overall."

Deluxe Reverb

"First off I would like to say that the kit, case and speaker were delivered quickly with no damage and no parts missing. After assembling a previous Mojotone amp (Princeton) I was disappointed that instructions were not included. I knew this before I ordered but still a disappointment. I am not at the recommended knowledge level published by Mojotone. Anyway I went ahead and found instructions from another source. This led to a little confusion and the need for extra wire. The amp did come out great though and as soon as I fix the clicking from the tremolo I will be super happy! ( the fix should be easy)"

Anthem 10" 35 watt 8ohm speaker

"Purchased a pair of the Anthem 10's to replace a couple of re-issue Jensen P10R in a Fender 2x10 cabinet. The Jensens are a great speaker but IMHO the Anthems are better match for my Tremolux amp and a better fit for the tone I'm looking for. Tighter bass, better defined mids and smoother highs and they aren't even broken in yet! Very good value for the price! Thanks Mojotone!"

Super sweet.

"I bought a pair of these to try in my brown Fender Super. I'm very impressed with how they sounded right out of the box. They have good clarity, keep the bass tight and the highs are bright but not strident in any way. I find them to be a very good match with this circuit yet a bit louder than I expected them to be; but that's fine with me."

Perfect in a Princeton

"Very impressed. Using this in a Princeton Reverb. I had gone through 6 other speakers, even trying various 12” like Celestion and Eminence, but that seemed to lose the character of the Princeton Reverb. The Anthem 10 is exactly what I wanted. American voiced, highs are nice but not harsh. Great mids, and the low end is perfect, not boomy but full and tight. Great speaker."

Great budget speaker for Fender and Fender'y tones

"I picked up four 16 ohm Anthem 10's for a 4x10 cabinet. I use this cabinet with a 1970 Bandmaster and sometimes with a Mesa Mark I reissue head. They are still breaking in, and with each practice/gig I'm noticing them opening up. They don't feel like they are 97dB, they feel a little softer than that. They remind me a lot of the CTS speakers in the 1971 Super Reverb I used to have, especially with the Bandmaster. Great budget speaker for Fender and Fender'y tones."

Good value. Good tone.

"I installed these in a '68 Custom Vibrolux Reverb. I had already removed the disappointing Celestion Ten 30's which came with it. I had installed a set of the Italian Jensens (green frame) which were a marked improvement. Still wanting something better, I've tried a set of the Anthems. They're decent enough and I think I'll keep them after some more break-in occurs. I play three nights a week - every week - and the speakers have now got about 27 hours on them. They still sound stiff and a little dull to me, but I'm hoping for improvement as time goes by. I also installed new JJ tubes and biased the power tubes at 66% - the max I could get out of them. All in all, I like them and hope to love them in time. FWIW, I primarily play a 2003 Guild Park Avenue archtop, an American Pro Strat and a Benedetto Bambino. Cheers, all."

At last!

"The Anthem 10 is an amazing speaker. It's the speaker I have been waiting for. Along the way, I have tried Oxford, Weber, Jensen, Eminence, Celestion, WGS . . . Finally the Anthem comes along with just the right recipe: frame, magnet, voice coil, spider, cone, dustcap. Bright enough, not shrill. Solid enough, not boomy. For black panel era Fender tones, I've not heard anything better. I have three black panel clones: a Princeton Reverb, a Deluxe Reverb 2x10, and a Vibrolux Reverb. All three are now loaded with Anthem 10s. I also have an Anthem in a brown panel Princeton clone. I have put these speakers through their paces at home and I have used them on gigs. I couldn't be happier."

Very musical speakers

"These are great speakers. Nice tight bottom end, not boomy. Lovely mids and crisp highs but not shrill. Very musical. Mojotone makes great stuff."
