Stand up and take a bow

"I really like the quality and convenience this affords. I will use it many times. It’s kinda pricey but I am finding it very nice to have, so I guess if it breaks and I need a new one I will just get another one. So far very happy about it"

Great idea!

"Well made stand, wish I had one od these on my last amp build. Those transformers are heavy and awkward!"

"Outstanding piece of gear!"

Nice chassis holder

"This was invaluable for building the Princeton Reverb Style Amp kit. The design is excellent but it’s implementation could be better. The right side broke loose from from it’s bottom portion so I used tight bond glue and screws to hold it together. I works well now. I wish I had this in 2004-2005 when I was repairing a friends original 1965 Super Reverb and 1965 Twin Reverb amps. If the “felt” material on the top of the chassis holding arms I suggest replacing it with the felt portion of 3M Velcro or equivalent."

very happy

"I bought this through StewMac, and very happy I did. Just did a 65 P-Reverb chassis on this, and it was very handy.Very stage and substantial. Nice to be able to angle the stand for different soldering locations, and the felt-lined mount protects the chassis. I also appreciate the two felt-lined pockets on the ends, nice place to put mounting screws. One thing to note: This thing is Big. Bigger than you might think, so be prepared for a large chunk of lumber on your workbench."

If you service amps you need one of these!

"I have used this stand for 3 month's now and I love it. There has not been one chassis that this stand hasn't handled and it makes life easy. No homemade blocks or chalks. Just measure or lay the chassis in front of the stand, open the wings lock them in place and drop the chassis in and get to work. It's a pleasure to have one to work on amplifiers."

Designed for great utility...

"I found the chassis stand to be most useful. I removed the chassis from my Marshall DSL40C combo amp. I transitioned it to a head cabinet and while doing so decided to change some cap values on the PCB board. Having this chassis stand made it so much more convenient to properly hold the chassis in position while making these modifications. While in the stand I also checked and set the power tube bias using a couple Eurotubes bias probes. This also was conveniently done due to the position of the chassis in the stand. The product is well designed and built. It is rather expensive, but the quality is there so sometimes you get what you pay for. I have other amp projects and routine repairs that this stand will be useful well into the future. Being very adjustable assists in getting the right angle for viewing inside the chassis and easily adjustable of course to overall various chassis widths. A very good product."

Quality built, Well finished, Thoughtful design

"I’m really impressed with the quality! I had been using stacked old encyclopedia hardbacks as a chassis stand, and with frequent slipping and dropping, they weren’t working out well. This is exactly what I need. This new version is about $35 more than the previous stand offered by a well known luthier supply vendor, but worth it due to the attention to detail, thoughtful design, good finishing and rugged construction. No rough edges or poor sanding. Wood is amber stained and soft matte coated. Soft felt on parts caddy pockets and chassis shelves. Rubber feet keep it raised from the benchtop. Completely adjustable width, height and angle. Good, sturdy hardware. Wood burned Mojotone branded logo adds a nice touch. Easy assembly - Just attach the sides to the base and you’re ready to go. Well packaged and provides more than adequate protection during shipping. Don’t hesitate to pick one up. You’ll find it’s one of the nicest pieces of kit in the workshop."

It's about time somebody sells a unit like this amp stand.

"It's about time somebody sells a unit like this amp stand. I was fortunate to have one made for me 25 years ago by my pal. Mine is all steel and welds. It made working on amps a breeze and that makes for better repairs and builds."

Could be a lot better! But works reasonably well.

"Functional, but poorly made, shoddy shop work … it works well, and it’s functional… but crappy plywood, and cheap parts….I expected better for the price."
