Mojotone '59 Clone Vintage P.A.F. Style Low Output Humbucker Pickup

These are lower output than our standard version, making them much more articulate and crisp while retaining the same amazing touch sensitivity. Ideal for dark sounding guitars or just a neck pickup that needs a more single coil like clarity. The upper frequency range has exceptional bloom and lots of airy tone with the un-potted coils. We meticulously wound each coil with our own pattern and offset to represent what we believe to be the best vintage P.A.F. examples out there.

These '59 Patent Applied For Clones are for the tone purist. Authentic to every detail using all American made parts. 1959 spec butyrate bobbins, 1959 spec long leg frame, custom vintage spec plain enamel wire, custom alnico 4 cast magnets, maple spacer, vintage spec screws, and vintage spec slugs.

...if you want to get as close as possible to vintage Gibson humbucker tone, the ’59 PAF Clones are a great way to go. -Guitar Player Magazine, May 2014

Mojotone '59 PAF clone humbucker-Low Output

"I have owned several high-end (and very pricey) PAF humbucker clone sets, but none sound like these. These are my favorite pickups in a Les Paul. They seem to bring out all the subtle characteristics of the wood. It helps to have a good wiring harness and caps. These are the only humbuckers I use."

Great pickups for brightening up a Les Paul

"Really love these pickups in my Les Paul. The original pickups sounded a bit dark especially the neck which was a bit muddy. These pickups really helped brighten it up just enough without loosing the classic Les Paul tone."

Fantastic pickups!

"I bought a set of the regular 59 Clones for my Gibson LP Tribute and liked them so well that I decided to buy a set of low wind 59 Clones for my Eastman SB59, and I like them even more! They sound so good. Great clarity and articulation with perfect balance. I highly recommend them and any Mojotone pickups, as I’ve never been disappointed with them. I have their Quiet Coil P90’s in another LP and they are awesome, too."

Low Output 59 PAF

"These are really great sounding pickups! Very balanced and clear in my original 65 SG and 61 RI SG. No muddiness and extremely responsive."
