Johnny Winter teamed up with Mojotone to recreate his iconic sound with his signature Firebird pickup. Using aged cast Alnico magnets, vintage-spec 42 gauge wire, and a steel reflector plate, these pickups deliver the same tone as Johnny's originals. The neck and bridge pickups are carefully balanced for even output and response across all positions. Our custom winding recipe enhances the original Firebird specs, offering a broader frequency response, increased output, and added sustain.
