I bought my Fender 75 with a 15″ speaker in 1980 new. I switched out the speaker with a 15″ Eminence, Red Coat series “BIg Ben” 8 ohm, 225 watts. “Caution” do not use the “Extension Speaker Jack” (engineering flaw) speakers will cut out, it will run hot and you could have problems. My foot switch was wired wrong from the factory and I had it fixed years ago because it didn’t switch channels/reverb properly. I primarily use the Normal so called “Rhythm” channel with the bright switch on. I get the best tone with the “Master Volume” high 8-9 and the “Volume” 2-3. I use “Low Power” 15 watts, plenty loud. Treble at 3, Middle at 3-4, Bass at 2-3. NO “pull boosting” for me. Solid and semi hollow body guitars sound good but the amazing thing is that there is very little feedback with “acoustic guitars” plugged into this amplifier. Best amp for my acoustic guitars.

What is the wattage rating on the fender blue label speakers in the CB-12 cab? Thanks in advance.

Looking for wattage ratings for my Fender 75 CB-12 speaker cab. Speakers are Fender “special design” (small blue circular label with chrome colored magnets.)Eminence? Cab ID label says 16ohm wired for 8ohm but no wattage rating listed. Can find info anywhere.

Depends on the condition. Up to $500 if they’re in really great shape.
