I have one.Took a bit to dial in the EQ,but worked. Does the job only a Twin can do,only with a steel-friendly 15″ that also likes six-string just fine. Saves me having to carry two amps around.+1 on having a slightly bigger cab– just a bit more resonant. Playing steel I need a good deal more clean headroom than six-stringers do, and the other benefit is having a big Fender amp onstage. Always did like that. I’d get REAL tempted if Fender did a ToneMaster Twin with a 15.
What can I say? It’s a Fender twin custom re-issue. What it is speaks for itself, as does its’ deserved reputation.
You say that like there’s an optional existence. Here’s the ugliness…, when the custom luthier, boutique amp builder and pedal maker have become close family friends with children attending college. My pickup needs the transmission rebuilt. I really should visit the dentist, my ears are ringing and my neighbors hate me.
