Hot Quiet Coil P-90 Dogear Pickup
The Hot P-90 Quiet Coil was designed for players who need a more powerful P-90 to hit the front end of the amp with more gain and bottom end punch. We were able to retain the clarity and definition of a traditional P-90 so that your tone isn't muddy or dark sounding, with more emphases on upper mid-range growl and no 60-cycle hum.
The pickup is a direct replacement for any standard P-90 dogear rout that does not require modifications like many other hum-cancelling designs. The set (neck and bridge) is paired with our '56 Quiet Coil P-90 in the neck position for a well balanced set and excellent clarity in all positions.

My guitar is ALIVE now
by Keith
I was looking at the 56 quiet coil or the hot quiet coil for my new LpJr double cut and after some research and reading that the hot version was based on the 56 only hotter I went with it considering my '89 LP special has some very nice sounding Lollar low winds. As far as the Mojotone hot quiet coils go I LOVE them! You're not sacrificing tone for the added output or the 'quiet' if that's what you are wondering ! It sings beautifully and has the best dynamic range. They have a springy characteristic to them that makes it very hard to put the guitar down . I was blown away by how much clarity my guitar now has especially with low gain chordy hammer on pull off neil young type playing. That's my favorite stuff to play and always my test run with new stuff. I haven't had this much fun on any guitar yet. Not only that but I have found my amps and pedals tonal range to be more usable outside of the usual 'sweet spots' The pickup just makes the guitar work so much better !

Really nice pickup! If you guys could put the same "Mojo" magic into acoustic guitar pickups like you do with electric pickups, you'd rule the pickup world! Keep up the good work Mojotone and thanks!
