Vintage Guitar Amps
Let's be honest: the destination is just as important as the journey. Whether it's a vintage amp from the 50's, or an amp designed to play with a specific guitar, you need a certain sound and look out of your tube amp. Our very roots are that of an amp tech, so we get it, and help you along your journey of building.
When's the last time you built a Tweed Champ? We have you covered with the kit to replicate the 5W guitar amp kit that Fender made so popular all those years ago.
Tube Amp Repair and Build
The smooth sound of tube amps just cannot be replicated by newer technology. You know that, but we want you to know that's exactly why we exist. We want to help you realize those electron flow goals inside the tube amp of your choosing. Whether you're replicating sounds or matching a play style, we have a tube matching machine to get you exactly the double or quad amp tubes your build requires.
We've perfected the art of reproductions and poured that expertise into our Tweed Princeton amp kit so you can build with us too.
MojoTone Makes Custom Guitar Amps
Our Guitar Amps Story
One of the difficult parts of vintage amp repair and reproduction are the tubes. As technology has advanced amp tubes are harder to find, especially when considering quality which is why we added amp tube testing to our amp shop. With selection testing we can verify quality and longevity while power matching amp tubes. Speaking of Tubes... In our shop, you will find the following Vacuum Tube Types: 6V6 Vacuum Tube, 6L6 Vacuum Tube, EL34 Vacuum Tube, GZ34 Vacuum Tube, KT-66 Vacuum Tube, 12AX7 Vacuum Tube, 12AT7 Vacuum Tube along with many other popular options.
Welcome to our amp shop, we want to help you build, modify, and repair guitar amps.
One of the cool things about tube amps is that they've stood the test of time. The quality and sheer range of tone and sound capabilities are unmatched (yet) by newer technologies. So we'll keep serving the people playing, building, and repairing amps.
