Nice chassis holder

This was invaluable for building the Princeton Reverb Style Amp kit.
The design is excellent but it’s implementation could be better. The right side broke loose from from it’s bottom portion so I used tight bond glue and screws to hold it together. I works well now. I wish I had this in 2004-2005 when I was repairing a friends original 1965 Super Reverb and 1965 Twin Reverb amps. If the “felt” material on the top of the chassis holding arms I suggest replacing it with the felt portion of 3M Velcro or equivalent.

I’m really impressed with the quality! I had been using stacked old encyclopedia hardbacks as a chassis stand, and with frequent slipping and dropping, they weren’t working out well. This is exactly what I need. This new version is about $35 more than the previous stand offered by a well known luthier supply vendor, but worth it due to the attention to detail, thoughtful design, good finishing and rugged construction. No rough edges or poor sanding. Wood is amber stained and soft matte coated. Soft felt on parts caddy pockets and chassis shelves. Rubber feet keep it raised from the benchtop. Completely adjustable width, height and angle. Good, sturdy hardware. Wood burned Mojotone branded logo adds a nice touch. Easy assembly - Just attach the sides to the base and you’re ready to go. Well packaged and provides more than adequate protection during shipping. Don’t hesitate to pick one up. You’ll find it’s one of the nicest pieces of kit in the workshop.
