Details

Finally! A vintage correct 6/6 nylon nut blank. This is the same material Gibson used in the 50's and 60's. It's extremely slippery and resists wear like nothing else. We laser cut these to avoid chips and variances in dimensions.

It was hard to work with, but once I got it done the result was worth it. No more pinging sounds when I tune up. No matter how well bone or other materials get cut, they always start to bind the string after a short time. I'll be using nylon from now on for those Gibson's!
